Job Description

We are looking for a meticulous Preflight Inspector to join our aviation team in Brisbane. In this role, you will be responsible for the comprehensive review and approval of all preflight documentation. Your attention to detail is crucial as you will ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards, thus maintaining our commitment to operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate preflight documentation thoroughly to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Liaise with maintenance and operations teams to achieve a smooth preflight process.
• Conduct safety audits and inspections of aircraft pre-departure.
• Prepare and maintain detailed documentation related to preflight checks.
• Report any potential safety issues to the management team promptly.
• Provide recommendations to improve operational safety and efficiency.
• Educate and inform flight crews about necessary safety procedures.
• Represent the company during audits with aviation authorities.
• Collaborate with other inspectors and departments to ensure compliance across the board.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in aviation maintenance or related field is highly regarded

Experience

• At least 2 years of aviation safety experience
