Job Description

As a Wheel Worker, you'll play a crucial role in our service team by inspecting, repairing, and maintaining wheels for various vehicles and machinery. You will need to possess a thorough understanding of wheel types and the ability to diagnose issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed inspections of vehicle wheels and rims.
  • Execute necessary repairs or replacements while adhering to quality standards.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of all service actions performed.
  • Engage with customers to clarify any repair issues and proposed solutions.
  • Collaborate with the service team to optimize workflow efficiency.
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks on service tools and equipment.
  • Assist with training programs for new team members.

Requirements

Education
  • Certificate IV in Automotive Mechanical Technology
Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of practical experience in wheel repair
Technical Skills
  • Hands-on experience with wheel maintenance
  • Understanding of vehicle diagnostic software
Soft Skills
  • Communication
  • Attention to detail
Certifications
  • Forklift License (desirable)
Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous

  • Experience with heavy-duty and off-road vehicles: Knowledge of servicing larger and specialized vehicles.
