Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to support licensed speech-language pathologists in evaluating and treating patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct screenings for speech and language delays under supervision.
  • Implement therapeutic exercises prescribed by speech-language pathologists.
  • Document patient interactions and therapy outcomes accurately.
  • Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans.
  • Engage in community outreach programs promoting awareness of communication disorders.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Allied Health Assistance
  • Relevant certification from a recognised institution
Experience
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly regarded
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to use assessment tools
