Job Description

As a Solar Energy Installation Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing the installation of solar systems on residential and commercial properties. Your expertise in solar energy will ensure that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and execution of solar installation projects.
  • Ensure all work is performed according to health and safety standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the installation crew.
  • Collaborate with sales and project management teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Document project progress, including any changes or delays.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement necessary measures.
  • Manage relationships with subcontractors and vendors.
  • Organize regular team meetings to discuss project updates and challenges.
  • Lead training sessions for new technicians on installation techniques.
  • Evaluate and report on the performance of project teams.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Renewable Energy or Environmental Science
  • Master's degree is an advantage
Experience
  • 7+ years of experience in renewable energy projects
