Job Description

We are seeking a Public Health Officer to join our dedicated team in Launceston. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public health, community outreach, and health policies to help us improve the health standards of our community.

Responsibilities

  • Implement strategic health initiatives focusing on the community.
  • Evaluate public health programs and suggest improvements.
  • Coordinate with NGOs and community organizations for health campaigns.
  • Report on health outcomes and programme success.
  • Provide health education workshops and seminars.
  • Ensure compliance with health policies and regulations.
  • Assist in emergency health response planning.
  • Work with diverse communities to address public health disparities.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health or Health Sciences
  • Master's degree in Public Health preferred

  • 5+ years experience in public health roles
