Responsibilities
Conduct thorough inspections and surveys of sites to assess the presence of asbestos.
Execute asbestos removal tasks in line with legislative guidelines and company policies.
Work collaboratively with the team to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Document all removal activities and report to the Site Supervisor.
Participate in regular safety meetings and training sessions.
Prepare and maintain equipment, ensuring it meets safety requirements.
Mentor junior staff on asbestos handling and safety procedures.
Requirements
Education
Certificate III in Asbestos Removal
White Card for construction sites
Experience
Minimum of 2 years' experience in hazardous materials removal, specifically asbestos.
