Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Road Consultant to join our team. You will provide expert advice on road design, construction, and maintenance, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation. Your role will involve conducting site inspections, developing plans, and presenting reports to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee road design and construction projects from inception to completion.
• Assess risks and issues during project execution and devise mitigation strategies.
• Engage with local communities regarding road development and its impacts.
• Conduct traffic analysis and propose improvements to existing road networks.
• Utilise software tools to create detailed designs and models.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication.
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to team discussions.
• Assist in budget preparation and financial monitoring of projects.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and legislation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Postgraduate qualifications in Engineering or a related field are advantageous

Experience

• Demonstrated experience in managing road construction and maintenance projects

• Traffic Modelling Software

Certifications

• Registered Engineer Certification
• Certified Engineering Technician (CET)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
