Job Description

The Weapons Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing cutting-edge weapons systems and technologies tailored to meet the unique needs of the defence industry. This role involves collaboration with a dynamic team of engineers and scientists committed to innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and evaluation of weapon systems.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive R&D projects.
  • Ensure compliance with defence regulations and standards.
  • Prepare and present technical reports to stakeholders.
  • Monitor industry trends and incorporate them into design considerations.
  • Develop prototypes and oversee testing phases.
  • Assess the performance of existing systems and recommend improvements.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and external partners.
  • Develop and manage project timelines and budgets.
  • Work on system integration with other defence technologies.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or equivalent)
  • Postgraduate degree in Engineering (preferred)
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in weapons engineering or related field
