Job Description

We are actively seeking a dedicated Pin Pusher to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be pivotal in performing various pin-pushing tasks within a bustling bowling centre. As the face of our operations, you’ll ensure pins are accurately placed, contributing to an enjoyable experience for all our bowlers. Ideal candidates will possess a keen eye for detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. No previous experience is necessary as comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Set up and remove pins as required during gameplay.
• Ensure that the pin-setting equipment is functioning correctly.
• Maintain an efficient workflow to keep the game moving smoothly.
• Conduct routine inspections of bowling lanes and equipment for maintenance.
• Assist with customer queries and ensure a pleasant experience for all patrons.
• Collaborate with other staff to facilitate team goals and targets.
• Report any issues or suggestions for improvements to management.
• Maintain adherence to the highest safety standards.
• Help in training new staff on pin pushing techniques.
• Assist with general housekeeping duties as needed.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma is preferred

Experience

• Previous experience in a manual labour role is advantageous.

• Good Hand-Eye Coordination

• Adaptability

Certifications

• First Aid Certification (preferred but not mandatory)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Prior experience in maintenance roles: Experience in a role that involved basic maintenance tasks.
• Ability to lift heavy objects: Capable of lifting and moving bowling pins and equipment as required.
