As the Clay Preparation Supervisor, you will oversee the entire clay preparation process for our ceramic manufacturing operations. Your role is pivotal in ensuring the consistency and quality of the clay used for production. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role within the manufacturing sector.

Responsibilities

• Direct the clay mixing process to guarantee the correct formulation and consistency.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Develop and implement training programs for new staff in clay preparation.
• Work closely with the logistics team to coordinate the timely delivery of clay materials.
• Lead efforts in optimizing clay preparation techniques for improved efficiency.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance.
• Ensure adherence to environmental regulations related to clay preparation.
• Communicate effectively with other departments to foster a cohesive work environment.
• Review and approve suppliers of raw materials.
• Supervise the tracking and reporting of production costs and resource management.
