Job Description

As a Die Cutter, your primary responsibility will be setting up and operating die-cutting machines to create precise cuts and shapes for various materials. You will collaborate closely with the design team to ensure the accuracy and quality of cuts while adhering to strict safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate the die-cutting machine as per specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on all cutting equipment.
• Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely material supply.
• Conduct quality checks to meet industry standards.
• Keep track of production metrics for performance analysis.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist in training junior team members on machine operation and safety.
• Contribute to the development of SOPs for die-cutting operations.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Manufacturing or related field

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in die cutting or related field

Technical Skills

• Ability to read technical drawings
• Experience with large-scale cutting machines

Soft Skills

• Analytical thinking
• Time management

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Quality control experience: Prior experience in quality assurance processes related to production.
• Experience in troubleshooting mechanical issues: Capable of identifying and addressing machine malfunctions.
