Aerospace Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Engineer to lead design and analysis efforts for our innovative aerospace projects in Mackay. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in aerodynamics, materials science, and systems engineering, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for pushing the boundaries of aerospace technology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design and analysis processes for aerospace projects.
• Document all phases of the engineering process for traceability.
• Lead discussions on technical challenges and solutions with project teams.
• Facilitate training sessions on new engineering tools and methodologies.
• Implement best practices in aerospace design and engineering.
• Assist in the development of project budgets and timelines.
• Evaluate vendor proposals for aerospace materials and components.
• Collaborate on multi-disciplinary projects to ensure holistic solutions.
• Represent the company at industry conferences and workshops.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in aerospace system design
