Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Machine Feeder and Offbearer to support our rodeo events in Melbourne. The successful candidate will work closely with our team to manage livestock and ensure the safety of riders during events.

Responsibilities

• Prepare feeding schedules and manage livestock nutrition.
• Work closely with the team to ensure safety of all participants.
• Monitor animal behaviour and report any issues.
• Assist in training and socialisation of livestock for events.
• Participate in community outreach to promote events.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Agriculture or equivalent

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in livestock management.

Technical Skills

• Livestock Nutrition Management
• Event Coordination

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Adaptability

Certifications

• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in breeding and training working dogs: Hands-on experience with training livestock dogs.
• Understanding of equine management: Knowledge of horse management and care practices.
