Job Description

The Fisheries Technician Supervisor will oversee a team of technicians, ensuring efficient operations within the fisheries department. This role includes managing daily activities, maintaining fish stocks, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of the fisheries team.
  • Lead initiatives to monitor and report on fish stock health and sustainability.
  • Implement policies for ecological conservation and responsible fishing practices.
  • Training and mentoring junior staff in fisheries management.
  • Ensure the effectiveness of data collection and research processes.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Fisheries Science or related field is preferred
