Job Description
As a Farmworker, you will be responsible for the care of farm animals, ensuring they are well-fed, healthy, and comfortable. This role involves hands-on work with livestock and a dedication to sustainable farming practices.
Responsibilities
Ensure the health and wellbeing of farm animals through proper feeding and care.
Assist in administrative tasks related to livestock management.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in animal facilities.
Track and manage livestock health records accurately.
Engage in breeding management and reproductive tasks.
Support the Farm Manager in implementing sustainable practices.
Operate necessary equipment and machinery for farm operations.
Participate in training programs on animal husbandry best practices.
Contribute to a positive team environment through effective communication.
Promote a culture of safety and respect for farm animals.
Requirements
Education
Certificate II or III in Animal Studies, or equivalent experience in animal husbandry
Experience
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in the animal husbandry industry.
