Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Chief Sustainability Officer responsible for spearheading our sustainability initiatives and managing energy efficiency programs across our operations. The ideal candidate will possess a profound understanding of sustainability practices and demonstrate a passion for driving significant change within the renewable energy sector. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to enhance our sustainability goals, ensuring compliance with industry practices and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead annual sustainability audits and assessments.
  • Collaborate with marketing to promote sustainability efforts.
  • Engage with local communities to promote sustainability initiatives.
  • Develop partnerships to drive sustainable initiatives.
  • Conduct trainings on sustainability practices for all employees.
  • Implement waste reduction strategies and recycling programs.
  • Establish KPIs to measure sustainability performance.
  • Advise on building certifications and standards.
  • Review and enhance sustainability communications.
  • Manage sustainability-related public relations initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field
  • Master's degree in a relevant field is highly desirable
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a senior sustainability role
