Job Description

The Career and Transition Teacher is responsible for supporting students in their career development and transition to post-secondary education or employment. You will develop and deliver tailored programs that empower students to explore their career options and enhance their employability.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments to identify student strengths, interests, and career goals.
  • Facilitate workshops and information sessions focused on career development.
  • Connect students with work experience and internship opportunities through local partnerships.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making adjustments as needed.
  • Promote a supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Counseling or related field
Experience
  • Experience working with special needs students is advantageous
Technical Skills
  • Knowledge of job market dynamics
