Job Description

As an Agricultural Sciences Teacher at our farm, you will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging educational programs. This role involves leading tours, providing hands-on experiences, and collaborating closely with school groups and visitors to elevate their understanding of sustainable farming practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement curricula tailored to the Australian education standards.
• Coordinate and lead field trips that educate students on farming practices.
• Mentor volunteers and interns in agricultural education.
• Manage farm projects and ensure they align with educational goals.
• Engage with local schools and communities to promote agricultural literacy.
• Evaluate and report on educational outcomes to the Agricultural Director.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on the farm.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Education or related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in educational program development.
