Job Description

The Spinning Lathe Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining spinning lathes to produce high-quality metal products. This role requires a high level of technical skill and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC and manual spinning lathes for metal components.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols during operation.
  • Assist in the development of new operational procedures.
  • Maintain accurate production logs and records.
  • Monitor production workflow and report any inefficiencies.
  • Ensure tools and equipment are available and in good condition.
  • Implement best practices for waste reduction and efficiency.

Requirements

Education
  • Certificate in machining or related field
  • Diploma in Industrial Engineering is preferred
Experience
  • 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Technical Skills
  • CNC programming
  • Metalworking tools proficiency
Soft Skills
  • Excellent communication
  • Leadership abilities

Advantageous

  • Experience with CNC (Computer Numerical Control): Working knowledge of CNC spinning lathes and programming.
