Job Description
The Spinning Lathe Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining spinning lathes to produce high-quality metal products. This role requires a high level of technical skill and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
Operate CNC and manual spinning lathes for metal components.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols during operation.
Assist in the development of new operational procedures.
Maintain accurate production logs and records.
Monitor production workflow and report any inefficiencies.
Ensure tools and equipment are available and in good condition.
Implement best practices for waste reduction and efficiency.
Requirements
Education
Certificate in machining or related field
Diploma in Industrial Engineering is preferred
Experience
5 years of experience in a similar role.

Metalworking tools proficiency

Experience with CNC (Computer Numerical Control): Working knowledge of CNC spinning lathes and programming.
