Job Description

As an Occupational Health and Safety Specialist, you will focus on surveillance of venereal diseases and develop strategies to control and prevent these conditions. This position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders to enhance community health.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct surveillance and investigation of reported cases of venereal diseases.
  • Develop and implement strategies for the prevention and control of venereal diseases.
  • Collaborate with public health professionals and community organizations to promote awareness and education.
  • Collect and analyze data to monitor disease trends and identify outbreaks.
  • Provide guidance to healthcare providers on diagnosis, treatment, and management of venereal diseases.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for community stakeholders.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance the skills of healthcare professionals.
  • Assist in grant writing and project management for public health initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or a related field
  • Master's degree preferred
Experience
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in public health or a related field
