As a Leather Currier, you will be responsible for treating, dyeing, and finishing leather hides. Your work will involve close collaboration with other leather professionals to ensure premium quality in our products.

Responsibilities

• Perform procedures in leather processing, tanning, and finishing.
• Adapt to varying production demands and requirements.
• Engage in team meetings to discuss production advancements.
• Implement sustainable practices within the production framework.
• Assist in inventory management of materials and supplies.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate IV in Leather Production is preferred

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in leather processing, tanning, or finishing

Technical Skills

• Experience with eco-friendly leather production techniques
• Experience with exotic leathers

Soft Skills

• Adaptability
• Leadership skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with leather crafting tools and equipment: Proficient in using equipment specific to leather processing.
• Experience with automation in leather production: Understanding of modern automated systems used in leather manufacturing.
