We are seeking a First-Line Supervisor of Construction Trades to oversee our team of drywall installers. This role requires strong leadership skills to ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise installation activities, ensuring quality and safety.
• Schedule and allocate resources effectively among team members.
• Evaluate contractor performance and manage subcontractor relationships.
• Implement strategies to enhance work site efficiency.
• Provide feedback to team members to promote continuous improvement.
• Organize daily meetings to discuss progress and address challenges.
• Enforce compliance with all safety and health regulations.
• Participate in pre-project planning and risk assessments.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
• Foster a culture of respect and professionalism within the team.

Requirements

Education

• Completion of a relevant trade qualification.
• A degree in Construction Management is advantageous.

Experience

• Proven experience leading teams in construction settings.
