Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Accountant to join our dynamic team in Ballarat. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, along with the ability to handle financial reports, budgets, and tax returns. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent analytical skills and have a strong focus on accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions.
  • Oversee financial reporting and ensure compliance.
  • Manage payroll and employee expense reimbursements.
  • Advise management on financial decisions.
  • Support the implementation of new accounting software.
  • Conduct regular reconciliations of financial accounts.
  • Assist in financial planning and analysis.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss financial performance.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • Master's degree in Finance is a plus

  • 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles
