Financial Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Financial Analyst to join our team in Townsville. You'll be tasked with analysing financial data, preparing reports, and advising on business decisions to enhance financial performance. The role involves close collaboration with different departments to ensure accurate financial forecasting and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and report on financial dashboards.
• Monitor cash flow and track financial KPIs.
• Evaluate existing financial processes and recommend upgrades.
• Coordinate audits and assist at all stages of the audit process.
• Mentor junior finance staff.
• Engage in strategic planning sessions to outline financial forecasts.
• Liaise with external auditors and other financial institutions as required.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• Master's degree or professional certifications are preferred

Experience

• 3+ years in a financial analysis role or related discipline

Certifications

• CFA Level 1 or 2

Languages
