Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Financial Analyst to join our team in Townsville. You'll be tasked with analysing financial data, preparing reports, and advising on business decisions to enhance financial performance. The role involves close collaboration with different departments to ensure accurate financial forecasting and budgeting.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct financial analysis and prepare detailed reports on financial performance.
  • Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial models to guide business strategy.
  • Collaborate with management to formulate long-term financial plans.
  • Monitor industry trends to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
  • Provide financial insights to assist with decision-making processes.
  • Evaluate investment opportunities and assess their viability.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Master's degree or professional certifications are preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years in a financial analysis role or related discipline
