Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Power Reactor Operator to oversee the operations of our nuclear power facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safety, compliance with regulatory standards, and the efficient function of reactor operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the operation of reactor systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Implement safety protocols to mitigate risk and ensure compliance.
• Schedule and perform regular maintenance checks on equipment.
• Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance teams.
• Prepare reports on plant performance and incidents.
• Train new staff on safety and operational procedures.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Assist in the development of operational procedures.
• Monitor environmental impacts and report findings.
• Engage in continuous education regarding new technologies and practices in nuclear safety.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant qualifications in engineering or physical sciences

Experience

• Experience in a supervisory role within a nuclear facility is advantageous.
