Job Description

Join our team as a Wind Development Leader, where your expertise in wind energy project management will drive the successful development and execution of projects across Australia. You will coordinate teams, manage budgets, and maintain stakeholder communications from the outset to completion.

Responsibilities

• Direct all phases of project development, including feasibility studies and environmental assessments.
• Establish and lead project teams, ensuring collaboration and effective communication.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and project requirements.
• Evaluate and negotiate contracts with vendors and contractors for project services.
• Provide leadership in stakeholder engagement and community relations.
• Develop strategic plans for project advancement and sustainability.
• Implement best practices for project management and reporting.
• Conduct thorough analysis and due diligence on potential sites.
• Organize training and development for project staff on industry standards.
• Advocate for sustainability and renewable energy initiatives within the community.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field
• Master's degree in related field preferred

Experience

• At least 10 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, with 5 years focusing specifically on wind energy

Technical Skills

• Understanding of Wind Energy Technologies
• Environmental Policy

• Green Building Council Accredited Professional
