Job Description

As a Vacuum Drier Operator, you will play a critical role in operating and maintaining vacuum drying equipment in our busy manufacturing facility. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that materials such as food products and chemicals are efficiently dried while adhering to quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Run and monitor vacuum drying equipment to meet production targets.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal functioning.
• Expertly adjust equipment settings based on the specific needs of different materials.
• Track drying progress and document the necessary adjustments for continuous improvement.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and quality assurance practices.
• Compile production data and maintain accurate records of operations.
• Identify and resolve issues that arise in the drying process swiftly.
• Work closely with colleagues to streamline drying techniques and processes.
• Follow all workplace health and safety protocols.
• Assist in drafting and revising operating procedures where necessary.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical certification in manufacturing or machinery operation is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience operating vacuum drying machinery in a manufacturing setting.
