Traffic Technician

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Traffic Technician to join our team in Sydney. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pavement engineering and be responsible for designing and maintaining various pavement systems.

Responsibilities

• Assess and recommend improvements for existing pavement systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation for projects.
• Evaluate the impact of new materials and technologies on pavement design.
• Maintain records of compliance and changes in regulations.
• Conduct training sessions for junior staff.
• Facilitate communication among project stakeholders.
• Conduct cost estimates and budget management for projects.
• Implement sustainable practices in pavement engineering.
• Monitor and report on project progress and challenges.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred

Experience

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in pavement design and maintenance
