Job Description

We are on the lookout for a detail-oriented Environmental Compliance Inspector to ensure our client's operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations. Your expertise in safety management will be vital in preventing workplace incidents and fostering a culture of safety.

Responsibilities

• Review and update safety manuals and procedures regularly.
• Investigate all workplace incidents promptly and thoroughly.
• Lead safety training and ensure competency assessments are conducted.
• Create and maintain clear documentation of safety policies.
• Proactively mitigate risks associated with environmental hazards.
• Facilitate meetings with management to discuss safety strategies.
• Assist in the development of environmental impact assessments.
• Coordinate with external agencies for compliance audits.
• Liaise with industry bodies to ensure best practices are followed.
• Provide input on safety improvements based on audit findings.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field
• Postgraduate qualifications in a related field are preferred

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience in safety or environmental compliance roles
