Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mill Operator to operate and maintain milling equipment in our mining operation. This role requires attention to detail, strong technical skills, and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up milling machines for production runs.
• Maintain cleanliness of the milling area and equipment to meet hygiene standards.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize milling operations.
• Document maintenance work and report equipment failures promptly.
• Manage inventory levels of raw materials and supply parts for milling machines.
• Liaise with the engineering team for any upgrades or modifications to equipment.
• Conduct training sessions for new hires on milling techniques.
• Assist in developing operating procedures and training materials for staff.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to achieve production goals.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and sustainability practices.

Requirements

Education

• Certification in milling operation

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
