Continuous Mining Machine Operator

Job Description

As a Continuous Mining Machine Operator, you'll operate and maintain crushing equipment to ensure our production goals are met. You will play a vital role in adhering to safety standards while managing the daily operations of our machinery.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate crushing machines during shifts.
• Monitor production flow and adjust operations for optimal performance.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Verify that safety standards are followed on-site.
• Collaborate with team members to maximise production efficiency.
• Document maintenance and operational activities.
• Adhere to environmental policies and practices.
• Assist in training new operators on safe equipment operation.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Technical or vocational training in mining or machinery operation preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or mining environment preferred.
