Job Description

The Cell Feed Department Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the Cell Feed Department, ensuring that production targets are met efficiently. You will manage a team of Cell Feed Technicians, maintain quality standards, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage daily operations in the Cell Feed Department.
• Monitor production schedules ensuring that deadlines are met.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to ensure operational readiness.
• Provide leadership and direction to the production staff, focusing on team motivation.
• Develop and implement performance improvement plans.
• Analyse workflow and productivity reports to identify areas for process enhancement.

Requirements

Education

• Tertiary qualification in Food Science, Engineering, or related field

Experience

• Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a supervisory role in a food processing or manufacturing environment.

Technical Skills

• MS Office Suite
• ERP Systems (SAP, Oracle)

Soft Skills

• Strong Leadership
• Problem-Solving

Advantageous

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles: Familiarity with process improvement methodologies to enhance productivity.
