Job Description
As a Hoist and Winch Operator, you will be responsible for the safe operation of hoists and winches to move materials on construction sites. Your role will ensure that all lifting operations are carried out efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance on hoisting equipment to ensure reliable operation.
Work collaboratively with site supervisors to align on operational priorities.
Monitor environmental conditions and adjust operations as necessary.
Assist in the development of site-specific lift plans.
Provide feedback to improve operational efficiency.
Maintain communication with ground crew during all lifting operations.
Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills and knowledge.
Adhere to all company policies related to safety and operational procedures.
Requirements
Education
Relevant trade qualification is preferred
Experience
3+ years of experience in construction or manufacturing environment.
