Logging Equipment Operator

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Logging Equipment Operator to join our team in Grafton. The ideal candidate will operate crane equipment for lifting and moving logs while ensuring adherence to safety procedures and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate logging cranes and related equipment.
• Support the harvesting process by moving logs efficiently.
• Conduct daily inspections of equipment for safety compliance.
• Adhere strictly to operational guidelines and safety regulations.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve goals.
• Maintain an organized worksite to promote safety.
• Assist in training new operators as required.
• Document operational activities and equipment status.
• Report any malfunctions or hazards to supervisors.
• Manage inventory of fuel and supplies for equipment.

Requirements

Education

• Valid Crane Operator License
• Current First Aid Certificate
• White Card (Construction Induction Card)

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years experience in heavy equipment operation
