Job Description

As a Conveyor Operator and Tender, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining strapping machines to ensure the secure packaging of products. Attention to detail and the ability to follow safety protocols are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operation of strapping machines during shifts.
• Conduct regular inspections of the equipment to prevent downtime.
• Ensure the correct materials are used for strapping.
• Assist in the loading and unloading of products as needed.
• Keep track of inventory levels of strapping materials and report shortages.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment is an advantage.

Technical Skills

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Knowledge of packaging methods

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Forklift Certification: Valuable for roles involving transportation and warehousing.
