Job Description

We are seeking multiple skilled Machine Tool Setters, Operators, and Tenders to join our dynamic manufacturing team in Melbourne. As a key player in our production process, you will operate automatic wheel-lines, ensuring the smooth running of equipment and the production of high-quality products.

Responsibilities

• Setup, operate, and troubleshoot automatic wheel-line machines, ensuring adherence to production schedules.
• Conduct routine inspections to monitor product quality and machine functionality.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure production targets are met efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records related to production volume, waste, and downtime.
• Assist with equipment changeovers to facilitate various production runs.
• Support safety audits and participate in safety training programs.
• Provide feedback on equipment performance and suggest improvements.
• Engage in cross-training to support other production roles as needed.
• Foster a collaborative team environment focused on safety and quality control.
• Help maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to workplace health and safety standards.

Requirements

Education

• Trade qualification in a relevant field is advantageous

Experience

• Experience with hydraulic systems and familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles is preferred.
