Edging Machine Operator

Job Description

Join our manufacturing team as an Edging Machine Operator. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining edging machines to ensure precision and quality in the production of eyewear. Successful candidates will thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and safety.

Responsibilities

• Set up the edging machine and perform initial calibrations.
• Regularly inspect glass pieces for quality assurance during processing.
• Keep precise records of machine settings and production metrics.
• Assist in the identification and resolution of any operational issues.
• Engage in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.
• Support other members of the production team as necessary.
• Maintain a tidy work space consistent with manufacturing standards.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production goals and challenges.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certificate in Manufacturing Technology or similar is a plus

Experience

• Experience in a manufacturing or similar role is an advantage.
