Job Description

The Postal Service Clerk is a vital role responsible for managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods and materials within our warehouse. This highly organized individual will ensure accurate tracking of inventory and maintain a high standard of operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality checks on received and dispatched goods.
• Coordinate with suppliers and carriers regarding delivery schedules.
• Manage returns and ensure accurate records are maintained.
• Work with the team to implement improvements in operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations during operation.
• Assist in the training of new staff and support ongoing staff development.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing queries related to shipments.
• Utilize warehouse management systems to enhance efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Certification in logistics and supply chain management or equivalent

Experience

• Experience using SAP or other ERP systems is an advantage

• Microsoft Excel

Certifications

• Certification in Lean Six Sigma (desired)

Languages
