Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Learning and Development Manager to lead our training initiatives in Ballarat. This role will involve designing and implementing comprehensive training programs aimed at enhancing employee skills and knowledge. You will work closely with department heads to identify training needs and develop strategies to address them. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain a training calendar for all learning activities.
  • Develop metrics to assess the impact of training on overall performance.
  • Promote employee engagement in training opportunities.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to employees when needed.
  • Conduct regular feedback sessions with participants to improve training delivery.
  • Manage logistics for training programs including venue and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant training regulations and guidelines.
  • Develop partnerships with educational institutions for future talent pipeline.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Postgraduate qualification in Human Resources or Training preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Learning and Development or Training management
