Job Description

The Employment Research and Planning Director will spearhead the development and execution of innovative workforce planning strategies tailored to enhance organisational capabilities. This role entails leading a skilled team to conduct in-depth research and analysis, providing insights that align workforce needs with business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Strategically planning and leading workforce research projects.
  • Managing the implementation of recruitment and retention plans.
  • Consulting with business units to align workforce strategies with business goals.
  • Providing expert advice on current workforce trends and practices.
  • Mentoring and developing team members within the HR analytics group.
  • Reporting on key performance indicators relating to workforce management.
  • Liaising with external agencies to optimise talent acquisition processes.
  • Overseeing compliance with relevant employment laws.
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement in workforce planning methodologies.
  • Collaborating with IT to enhance HR systems and reporting tools.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field
  • Master's degree in Human Resources Management or similar discipline is advantageous
Experience
  • 10 years of experience in a senior HR role, ideally focused on workforce planning
