Job Description

We are seeking a motivated HR Generalist to oversee various HR functions in our Mount Gambier location. This role will involve handling employee relations, recruitment, performance management, and compliance with employment laws. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR practices and a passion for people management, contributing to our workplace culture and employee engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding.
  • Create and maintain employee records and HR databases.
  • Implement performance management systems and assist employees in their development.
  • Assist in resolving employee relations issues and inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Develop and execute employee engagement initiatives.
  • Conduct training programs for staff development.
  • Facilitate communication between employees and management.
  • Support the HR Manager in policy formulation and implementation.
  • Assist with payroll processing and benefits administration.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field
  • Postgraduate qualifications in HR is an advantage
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in human resources management
