Job Description

As a Dredge/Barge Shore Hand, you will be pivotal in supporting our crew aboard dredges and barges. This role involves ensuring equipment is maintained and operations are executed safely and efficiently. Join our team to contribute to vital maritime projects!

Responsibilities

  • Support dredging and barge operations, including loading and unloading tasks.
  • Assist with equipment inspections and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain an organized workspace and ensure tools are at hand.
  • Adhere to all company policies and industry regulations.
  • Assist in training new team members on equipment handling and safety.
  • Actively participate in team meetings and operational planning.
  • Utilize basic computer skills for operational documentation.
  • Engage in ongoing training and development to enhance skills.
  • Work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
  • Collaborate with various teams to achieve project goals.

Requirements

Education
  • Valid driver's license.
Experience
  • Previous experience working in a marine or construction environment is preferred.
