Bridge Carpenter

Job Description

The Bridge Carpenter will play a key role in constructing, repairing, and maintaining wooden bridges. We are looking for candidates with strong carpentry skills, an understanding of construction techniques, and the ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

• Construct and maintain high-quality wooden bridges.
• Interpret and work from construction plans and blueprints.
• Skillfully measure, cut, and shape timber materials.
• Use both power and hand tools proficiently.
• Follow strict safety regulations and ensure quality control.
• Keep work areas tidy and free of hazards.
• Communicate effectively with the construction team.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent

Experience

• 3-5 years' experience in bridge construction preferred

• Bridge Construction
• Heavy Machinery Operation

Certifications

• White Card (Construction Induction Card)
• Valid Driver's License

Languages

• English: Fluent
