Job Description

As an Arabic Instructor at Language Academy Australia, you will teach Arabic to students from diverse backgrounds and levels. Your role is essential in helping students enhance their reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills while exploring the rich culture of the Arabic-speaking world.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and conduct Arabic language classes, focusing on all four skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
  • Evaluate student performance regularly and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
  • Incorporate cultural elements into lessons to provide context and relevance.
  • Collaborate with peers in the language department to share best practices.
  • Engage with students and create a supportive classroom atmosphere.
  • Develop supplementary materials such as handouts and study aids.
  • Assist in program evaluations to ensure the effectiveness of language courses.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Arabic Education, Linguistics, or a relevant field
  • Master's degree is preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years teaching Arabic to non-native speakers
