Job Description

As a Rolling Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining hotbeds essential for the cultivation of plants. You will ensure optimal conditions for growth while monitoring and adjusting equipment settings.

Responsibilities

• Control various machines used for the preparation and maintenance of hotbeds.
• Monitor the effectiveness of growing conditions and suggest improvements.
• Keep track of inventory related to plant care and machine maintenance.
• Work with the agronomy team to align machinery operations with plant needs.
• Document all processes and provide feedback for enhancement.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during operations.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in horticulture or related field preferred

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience operating and maintaining hotbeds or similar equipment

Technical Skills

• Hydroponics knowledge
• Plant health monitoring

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Physical stamina

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of plant disease management: Ability to identify and manage diseases that affect plant health.
• Experience with greenhouse management software: Familiarity with software used to monitor and control greenhouse conditions.
