Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Laborer to join our team in freight and stock movement. The successful candidate will handle the safe and efficient movement of materials, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations in a power station environment.

Responsibilities

• Implement best practices in ash handling and waste management.
• Collaborate with the Ash Management team to meet operational targets.
• Monitor equipment performance and report discrepancies.
• Train new staff on equipment safety and operational procedures.
• Participate in safety meetings and contribute to improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Waste Management or equivalent

Experience

• 2+ years in a similar role.

Technical Skills

• Environmental compliance knowledge

Soft Skills

• Teamwork

Certifications

• Work Health and Safety (WHS) certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Prior experience in a similar environment: Experience in waste management teams or roles related to material handling.
