Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Geelong. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in mechanical systems, design, and analysis, and will play a key role in developing innovative engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop prototypes and participate in product testing to refine designs.
• Evaluate and troubleshoot mechanical problems during the design process.
• Coordinate with project managers to track project timelines and deliverables.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.
• Prepare project budgets and resource allocations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Certification in Project Management is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical projects

• AutoCAD
• Project Management Software

Certifications

• Certified Mechanical Engineer

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Renewable Energy Systems: Experience with mechanical systems focused on renewable energy applications.
