We are seeking an enthusiastic Animal Caretaker to join our passionate team in Sydney. As an integral part of our grooming service, you will ensure the highest standards of care and grooming for our canine clients. Responsibilities

• Perform detailed grooming tasks including washing, drying, and styling.
• Inspect pets for health issues and communicate findings to the Head Dog Beautician.
• Foster a relaxing environment for anxious or nervous dogs.
• Provide impeccable customer service to pet owners throughout their visit.
• Work collaboratively with a small team to provide the best care possible.
• Assist in training new staff in grooming best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Companion Animal Services

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a grooming or pet care setting

Technical Skills

• Grooming Software
• Health Assessment

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Attention to Detail

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of grooming products: Ability to select appropriate grooming products for different fur types.
• Previous experience in a client-facing role: Experience in providing exceptional customer service.
