Occupational Therapist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team in Coffs Harbour. In this role, you will assess, plan, and implement therapy interventions to help clients regain their independence and improve their quality of life. Your expertise will contribute to a multidisciplinary approach aimed at delivering highest standard of care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed assessments of patients to identify their therapy needs.
• Design and implement individualized client-centred therapy programs.
• Evaluate and adapt therapeutic interventions based on client progress.
• Advocate for client needs across all levels of care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client assessments and treatment plans.
• Educate both clients and their families about best practices for ongoing care.
• Participate in case conferences and contribute to client care planning.
• Stay abreast of occupational therapy advancements through continuous education.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
• Certification in Mental Health or related area is a plus

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a related field

Certifications

• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
