Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated pharmacist to join our team at Community Health Pharmacy on the Sunshine Coast. This role involves managing prescription medications, providing patient care, and advising on health and wellness. Ideal candidates will have a strong commitment to improving patient outcomes and a passion for community healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Accurately dispense medications and provide patient care.
• Counsel patients on prescription and non-prescription treatments.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure availability.
• Assist in developing pharmacy policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to enhance patient outcomes.
• Participate in community health initiatives and programs.
• Provide education on medication adherence and safety.
• Maintain a clean and organised pharmacy environment.
• Assist in audits and quality control measures.
• Support the pharmacy manager in daily operations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent
• Relevant postgraduate qualifications are advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of pharmacy experience preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
